Happy Warwick Wednesday! We have a big week ahead in and around the village: the Warwick Arts Fest lands at Stanley-Deming Park, the summer concert series plays its season finale, and apple season officially gets started. Here is your guide to the next seven days.

Kick off the week at the Albert Wisner Public Library. Monday Afternoon at the Movies starts at 1:00 PM, and Board Game Night follows at 6:00 PM. Free, friendly, and a nice way to meet neighbors of all ages.

Warwick Arts Fest: "You Are Here!"

2:00 PM - 7:00 PM · Stanley-Deming Park, 1 Parkway

A family-friendly outdoor arts festival from Wickham Works with hands-on artmaking, interactive experiences, music, and live performances celebrating liberty, life, and happiness as part of the nation's 250th anniversary. All ages welcome. Rain date is Sunday, September 6.

Village of Warwick Summer Concert Series: Season Finale

7:00 PM · Railroad Green Park or Stanley-Deming Park, Village of Warwick

The Village of Warwick Summer Concert Series wraps up its season with a free Saturday evening concert. The series alternates between Railroad Green Park and the Stanley-Deming Park bandstand, so check the village page for the finale's location. Bring a blanket or a chair and soak in one last perfect summer night.

Pennings Farm: Last You-Pick Weekend of Summer

12:00 PM - 4:00 PM you-pick · Pennings Cidery Orchard East, 4 Warwick Turnpike

Saturday and Sunday are the final weekend of summer you-pick at Pennings Cidery Orchard East: strawberries, sunflowers, tomatoes, peppers, and more. And over Labor Day weekend, apple picking begins at Pennings Orchard West on NY-94. Live music plays every weekend at the Pennings Beer Garden and Cidery taproom.

Apple Picking and Live Music at Warwick Valley Winery

Orchard 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM; music 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM · Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery

The pick-your-own orchard at Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery is open daily with early-season varieties like Gala, Honeycrisp, Zestar, and Elstar, plus pears. Weekend live music runs 1:00 to 5:00 PM, rain or shine, with $10 per car admission on fall weekends. Bring the family and stay for cider and a bite at Pané Café.

Apple Dave's Orchard Opens for Picking

9:00 AM - 4:30 PM · 82 Four Corners Rd, Warwick

Apple Dave's Orchards is open daily for pick-your-own apples through late October. Along with picking (peck $30, half-bushel $45), you will find wagon rides, live music on weekends, fresh cider donuts, farm animals, nature trails, and a warm red-barn kitchen. Weekend admission is $5 per person.

Warwick Valley Farmers' Market

Over 30 regional farms and farm kitchens come together at the Warwick Valley Farmers' Market every Sunday through November. Locally grown produce, artisan breads, baked goods, prepared foods, and live music. Rain or shine.

Double Features at the Warwick Drive-In

Gates around 7:00 PM, showtime around 8:00 PM · 5 Warwick Turnpike

The Warwick Drive-In is open every night through Halloween, with two first-run films on each of its three screens for one admission price. There is nothing quite like a late-summer double feature under the stars. Check their page for the weekend lineup.

Warwick and the surrounding Orange County area are bursting with activity this week. A village arts festival, live music, farmers market finds, and the first apples of the season, it is everything that makes the Hudson Valley so special.
